I am a teacher. I would tell you that I've "taken a few years off" of teaching to stay at home with my baby, but I'm teaching more now than I was when I was in a classroom. (Classroom teachers rarely are required to work at 2am.)
When you stay at home with your kids, it can get monotonous. Or it can be the most fun you have EVER had. It all depends on what you make of it, and I've chosen to make the most. I may be her first teacher, but in a few short years I'm going to have to share her with a whole bunch of other teachers.
So what do we do with our time? That is the purpose of this blog.
